The Town is selling prints of a
Main Street scene in 1993 for $10.00. The original
artist is Francis C. Wolfanger. Stop in to Town Hall to purchase the
prints. Prints will be available at the HBA Expo and
Hampstead Day.

watering restrictions as adopted in Resolution 2008-02.
NOW,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT by the Mayor and Council of the
Town of Hampstead, Maryland that effective April 1, 2008,
water provided by the Town of Hampstead to its water customers
may not be used to:

Water
or irrigate lawns (except newly planted or seeded lawns),
gardens, trees, shrubbery or other vegetation except by
using a hand-held container or a hose with a
spring-loaded/automatic shutoff where such hose is
continuously attended.

Wash
automobiles, trucks, trailers, boats, motor bikes, campers
or other vehicles except with a hose with a
spring-loaded/automatic shutoff and where such hose is
continuously attended. The prohibition on washing vehicles
shall not apply to any commercial car wash facility.

Fill
decorative ponds or fountains.

Fill
swimming pools, hot tubs, wading pools or other similar
structures.
Offenders will receive a verbal or
written warning. A second offense will result in a $25
fine, a third offense will result in a $100 fine, a fourth
offense will result in a $250 fine and a fifth offense will
result in termination of service. Non-payment of fines
will also result in termination of service.
